From backflips to best trick: Jonas on fun, friends, and his MTB passion
I'm Jonas, 13 years old, and I love spending my time on the bike. For me, cycling is not just a hobby but also a way to get together with my friends, experience new adventures, and have a lot of fun. It's not just about tricks or performance – I simply love being outdoors and enjoying life. And one thing must never be missing: lots of laughter and good vibes!
Freestyle instead of pressure: Jonas on tricks, friendship, and the fun of mountain biking
Racing or cycling?
Cycling, because in racing I put pressure on myself to win. I already tested that at the Cookies Cup :-) Afterwards, I ended up getting injured.
Best MTB experience?
Backflip, but now I have other dreams of tricks.
I also won Best Trick at the Cookies Jam in Winterberg in 2023/24 :-)
Why do I love mountain biking?
I'm with my friends and meet new ones. I'm outdoors and not at home so much.
Most proud moment?
I'm proud of myself for trying things out. It's just fun. Being one of the winners at the Cookies Jam.
Tip for young talents:
Listen to your gut feeling, do what you love, and go for it.
