Hessen Champion 2024: Luca on success, community, and bike dreams
Who am I and what defines me?
Hi, I'm Luca, a carpenter by profession – a job where I work with my hands and get to be creative every day. But as soon as the workday ends, I swap hammer and nails for my bike. The trails are my second home, and I spend every free minute there. There's nothing better for me than hitting the trails after a long day at work, tackling new challenges, and clearing my mind.
New places, new challenges – Luca loves the diversity of MTB.
Racing or Cycling?
Definitely racing! I love the thrill and adrenaline of racing against the clock. Plus, the community at race weekends is just cool.
Best MTB Experience?
The numerous trips to various bike parks and countries with my friends.
Why do I love mountain biking?
I love discovering new places to bike and developing and improving myself on the bike.
Proudest Moment?
In 2024, I won the Hessen championship title, which has been my highlight so far.
Tip for Young Talents:
Set small goals and pursue them step by step, but the most important thing is: Have fun!
